Fifa ranking: Nigeria and afcon finalists gain positions

With four victories and two draws in 6 games played in the just concluded african cup of nations' tournament in South Africa where they lifted the trophy to end a 19-year drought since they last won it, the Super Eagles have moved 22 positions from their previous FIFA/Coca-cola ranking to occupy 30th. Burkina Faso moved from 92nd placement to 55th while Ivory coast climbed to the 12th position from previous 14th. Ghana moved 7 spots to rank 19th in the world and Spain maintains lead at no. 1 position followed by Germany(2nd) and Argentina(3rd).Here is the top 50 table. Watch out for other standings.
