"I still fear for my life" - Eto'o

Barely 4 hours to kick - off of Anzhi-Hannover match, first leg of the europa league encounter that decides which of the two teams will qualify for the final of 16 of the competition, attention is on Samuel Eto'o, the camerounian international that earns over €20 million to wear the Anzhi colours. Though his football ability is not in doubt, but his recent revelation that he receives death threats from his country's football federation officials may likely be affecting his performances on the pitch.
Infact, Eto'o continues to attack the cameroun football federation warning that "someone in there wants to kill me".The ex- InterMilan striker said that he lives under fear and to protect himself and his family that he has hired special bodyguards.
In the national team, "I don't wear jerseys they give me but I order them directly from the manufacturers and I don't eat with my team mates to avoid being poisoned", the Anzhi's goal getter had earlier exposed. And officials of the football federation have reiterated that they have no interest in Eto'o's personal life.
