Kenya appoints new coach

Coach Frenchman Michel Henri of Harambee stars has been replaced by Abel Amrouche who was the former Head Coach of Burundi National team. During the presentation which took place in Kenya on Monday, Amrouche while speaking to journalists said his objective is to build a team that can compete in any level and with hard work he believes that Kenya football will definitely grow to a higher level. He further assured the players that language was not going to be a barrier as football does not require a person to talk much.

Harambee stars of Kenya will be playing against the Super Eagles of Nigeria in continuation of the African qualifiers for the 2014 world cup on the 22nd of March and when asked how prepared they were to face the African champions, he said that he believes that with hard work Nigeria will be given a good challenge but if not, they have other games to prepare for and play since the world does not end after the match with Nigeria.
So far, Nigeria is at the lead of their group table with four points in two games while Kenya is placed last with 1 point in 2 games behind Namibia and Malawi.
