CAF U - 20 semifinals: Egypt vows to beat Nigeria

The coach of junior pharaohs Rabbie Yassin said his side will defeat the defending champion Nigeria to lift the trophy. Their aim is to qualify for the world cup and win the trophy, having achieved the first objective they are more determined and driven to lift the trophy, he concluded.

To get to this stage, they defeated Ghana by 2-1, Benin Republic 1-0and Algeria 1-0 to top the group in Group A.
The Nigerian coach has responded by saying to his fans and supporters that Egypt will fall as both teams meet in today’s clash. Nigeria is second in their group despite losing to Mali by 1-0, they beat the DR OF Congo by 3-1 and 1-0 to Gabon and qualified for the semi finals. Nigeria won the tournament 2 years ago hosted in South-Africa and also qualified for the world cup in turkey this summer.
 Ghana and Mali will also join Egypt and Nigeria to represent Africa in the world Cup in Turkey this summer. The semi-final match between Nigeria and Egypt will be played in Stade Omar ouclef, by 17:00 in Algeria today and Mali V Ghana at the Stade Ahmed Zabana, Oran tomorow 27th March 2013 by 17:00hr to determine who get to in the final.
