Osaze Odemwingie 31 is a Nigerian playing for West Brom and has been saying things about the club using the social media Twitter. He was disciplined by the club in January when the Baggies rejected his transfer request. He attacked the club again when he drove to QPR without permission on deadline day and the move did not succeed.
An Albion spokesman said that the club has decided to discipline him internally as they know all what he has been saying although Osaze has deleted some of the tweets from his twitter page. The International player has not gained starting shirt in the last four matches.
Osaze who was once playing for Lille and locomotiv Moscow, in his 84 appearances in the premier league, he has scored 30goals plus a goal against Wolves for Albion but the past four games has seen the Nigerian player coming as a substitute ever since he drove to Lofus road on transfer deadline day in January, during the game against stoke on saturday, he was brought in 68minutes into the game and it ended goalless.
In February, his manager Steve Clarke said Osaze still still had a part to play for the club this season but Odemwingie who has not been able to cope with being kept on the bench took to his twitter handle on sunday to express his anger and disappointment saying that sitting on the bench is worst than what was done to him on the 31st, he also went ahead to reply a fan telling him that"it is his wish" as the fan said he should be sacked. According to him, he had closed his career last summer and so there was no need for the club to threaten it.
After his unauthorised trip to West London, Osaze went for training only to be told by his club to return the following week and a two weeks salary reduction fine issued.
The Nigerian international striker who joined Albion in 2010 and still has another season left to end his contract has scored five goals in the premier league matches this season.
