Nigeria held to a 1 - 1 draw

The Super Eagles of Nigeria who were crowned the African champions in February this year after winning the 2013 Afcon hosted by South Africa, were this afternoon in Calabar, Nigeria held to a 1 - 1 draw by the Harambe Stars of Kenya in a crucial 2014 Brazil World Cup qualifier.
Francis Kahata scored after 36 minutes of the match for the Kenyans when he volleyed past Vincent Enyeama into the left corner of the net.

But the Nigerians who were playing in front of their home crowd, got the equaliser in the stoppage time when Nnamdi Oduamadi(came in as a substitute for Sunday Mba in the second half) sent the ball into the net behind Kenya's keeper, Arnold Origi Otieno.
