FIFA appoints Boateng as a taskforce member

FIFA vice-president from the Cayman Islands, Mr. Jeffrey Webb has been appointed by FIFA to head the new anti-racism taskforce created last month. Other members of the taskforce include AC Milan's midfielder, Kevin Boateng and Kick It Out chairman Lord Ouseley.
The move is part of a drive by FIFA to demonstrate it is taking discrimination in the game seriouly.
The taskforce is expected come out with more effective sanctions regime and education programme in time for FIFA's annual congress in May.
