Coup d'é-tat in Central African Republic delay return of the national team

The President of Central African Republic, Francois Bozize was on sunday overthrown by rebels soldiers and the palace taken over forcing them to flee, because of this, the Central African Republic players have not been able to return to their country home capital Bangui after their World cup qualifying match played in Cape town on saturday against Bafana Bafana team  in which they were defeated 2-0.

Domestic players will today, tuesday head to Douala, Cameroon although the players are already eager to go home but had no reservations as they will have to stay in Cameroon until it was safe to go back home according to William Kongo, their team manager while the foreign based players were arranged to travel yesterday, monday to Paris.
