Ghana wallop Sudan 4 - 0 while Morocco fall 3 - 1


Three second half goals from Ulimwengu and Samata helped Tanzania to produce a 3 – 1 victory against Morocco in Dar Es Salaam in Group C. El Arabi reduced the tally to 3 – 1 for the North Africans in the 90th minute.

In a group H tie, Mali obtained an away 2 – 1 win in Rwanda to temporarily climb to the top of the table. The other match of the group between Benin Republic and Algeria will be played on Tuesday in Blida, Algeria. Meanwhile, Sunderland’s midfielder Stephane Sessegnon has withdrawn from the Benin squad because of injury which adds to an earlier withdrawal by their striker Mickael Pote after procuring an injury in German league action last week.

In Group D, Ghana boosted their hopes of qualification for Brazil 2014 with a comfortable 4 – 0 victory over Sudan in Kumasi. Their goal-scorers are Asamoah Gyan(19th minute), Mubarak Wakaso(38th min), Abdul Majeed Waris(74th min) and Emmanuel Agyemang Badu(84th min).
