FIFA calls CAF suspended referee for Brazil World Cup

Slim Jdidi who is the Tunisian referee banned indefinitely by Confederation of African Football(CAF) after he made a series of errors in the semi-final of Afcon 2013 between Ghana and Burkina Faso on 6 February and sending off Burkina Faso's forward, Jonathan Pitropia has been shortlisted by FIFA to join 52 other referees for seminars organized by the world football governing body FIFA for officials considered to officiate in Brazil next year.
Jdidi and 6 other african referees will attend the African zone seminar in Casablanca from 27 - 30 April while Asuncion(CONMEBOL), Zurich(UEFA), Dubai(AFC&OFC) and Fort Lauderbale(CONCACAF) are venues for other World Cup candidate refereeing teams from other continents.
Slim Jdidi has not officiated in any international match since 6 February.
The other 6 african referees are Alioum Neant(Cameroon), Bennett Daniel F. (South Africa), Diatta Badara(Senegal), Doue N. Desire(Ivory Coast), Gassama Bakary Papa(Gambia) and Haimoudi Djamel(Algeria). They will be joined by 14 african assistant referees(linesmen) in Casablanca.
After seminars and trainings, only 30 referees will make it to
Brazil.
