Recently there were reports that the former InterMilan and Newcastle striker, Obafemi Martins had to join Seattle Sounders in United States Major Soccer League, but according to another report by Fichajes.com, Levante's (Martins' current clubside) president has decided to stop the move unless a €3 million termination of contract clause is paid.Martins contract with Levante expires in 2014. However, Obafemi is poised to move over to the United States Of America in order to boost the modelling career of his girl friend Abigail Balotelli (sister to Mario Balotelli of AC Milan) who recently gave birth for him.
