Egypt grab a narrow win

Egypt defeated Zimbabwe 2 - 1 on tuesday following two second half goals scored by Hosny Abd Radou 65 minutes into the game and Mohammed Aboutrika in the 87th minute after converting a penalty. With the victory the Pharaohs are topping group G with 9 points having won all their matches played so far and are four points ahead of the second-placed Guinea.
Though there are other three matches remaining to determine who wins the group, the Egyptians are close to finishing at the top and qualify into the third round, where the ten group winners will play off over two legs to determine the countries that will fly to Brazil 2014.
Elsewhere, Algeria showed supremacy over Benin with a 3 - 1 victory in Blida to join Mali with 6 points at the top of group H table.
